Terms and conditions.
- The applicant (you) is an employee of CMS Staffing Inc. (we), and you will be sent to other companies (Employers) to work. Available to you are both temporary or permanent positions. You acknowledge that your relationship with us is entered into as an elect to work arrangement and that you have the right to decline job without penalty. You also acknowledge that you are exempt from public holiday pay and termination pay.
- Your work hours will be recorded on CMS Staffing time sheet at the work place. This time sheet is YOUR responsibility and must be completed and brought to our office by the end of each week. If you cannot do so, please contact our office no later than Monday morning at 10:00 AM. This will prevent waiting an extra week for your pay.
- Pay cheques are issued from this office and are available each week.
- Our office hours are from 7:00AM to 8:00PM Monday to Friday.
It is agreed that you will under no circumstances seek or accept a direct offer of temporary or permanent employment from a client without first discussing the opportunity with CMS Staffing to explain.
- You will no under circumstances seek or accept offers from other employment agencies to work for the Employer in the position you were placed to by us.
- If you feel the job you have been asked to perform is not safe, you should report this matter immediately to your on-site supervisor and then phone CMS Staffing to explain.
- Our Client is responsible for on-site job training, if you feel as though you have not been trained appropriately; report this to your on-site supervisor immediately and phone CMS Staffing to explain.
- No alcohol or drugs will be tolerated before or while you are on the job site.
- In case of accident, you must call our office as soon as possible. Follow this up by coming into our office within 24 hours to fill out an accident report.
- You certify that you have read and understand CMS Staffing health and safety policy.
- You certify that you have viewed the CMS Staffing WHMIS training video, received a list of all symbols, and have general knowledge of WHIMIS and its importance in the workplace.
You hereby certify that, to the best of your knowledge and belief, the statement made by you on this application is correct. You certify that you have read and understood the terms and conditions and realize that failure to comply could result in your dismissal.
